Stockbridge Octagon

This 600 sq. ft. addition to one of Stockbridge’s historic brick Federals brought an entirely new style to the residence. The clients desired a jewel-box space with custom pointed arch windows, blue glazed details, Italian travertine tile, hand struck Mexican tile medallion, and custom wallpaper. The complex, highly detailed quality of the project required significant integration of design and specialty construction services. Featured in “Storybook Cottages: America’s Carpenter Gothic Style” by Gladys Montgomery.
